I have worked with James Schultz on several projects over the last two years: replacing a very large, double-paned window; the design and construction of bench couches on my 3 season porch; and the design and construction of an outdoor stairway as a part of my landscaping in the backyard.
In two of the projects, I came to James with large/big picture ideas of what I wanted. James was able to understand my unfocused vision, accurately see past it and construct projects beautifully, executed better than I ever envisioned.
This past year, James renovated a much bigger project in a bathroom/laundry room. There were challenging design and construction concerns and I was very conscience of budget constraints for this project. As this was in the heart of my living space, I feared the amount of disruption that this renovation would cause in my home and to my family.
Here once again, James delivered an exceptional outcome, on budget, and within the timeline that we agreed upon. Every day I came home to find an easily managable mess to work around. Additionally, James discovered that there had been a fire at some
point in the past in the space being renovated. He identified all the damage, repaired it beautifully, and with minimal additional cost to the initial estimate.
One additional detail. I have an older greyhound who has been known to be traumatized by unexpected change and might have run away while I was at work. I could not afford the cost of weeks of pet boarding but even with their multiple trips in and out of my home, James and his team always made sure that my dog was secure and came to no harm.
I strongly recommend James Schultz for any size, any budget project that you may be considering, and will definitely call him for any of my own future needs.
