When you decide to work with James Schultz Builders there are some tried and true rules that we want you to know first.
JSB works harder than traditional contractors to keep costs down and to avoid charging clients for expenses that only end up benefiting other projects. For instance, JSB does not keep an expensive inventory of materials and tools beyond what is necessary for running a modern construction operation.
JSB does not bill clients for expensive storage facilities and other capital costs. The bid JSB gives you is an estimate of the labor, materials, and finished projects for your job alone. When JSB buys materials for your project, we bill on the spot. This pay as you go approach means you won’t be billed for things unrelated to your job.
Because JSB is a big operation with lots of jobs, we can still take advantage of bulk discounts and pass those on to you even though you are billed only for your materials. Upon completion the final bill shall be paid when you are completely satisfied with our work.
We do this because:
1. we know you will be satisfied, and
2. we have learned that when client and JSB act more like partners in improving a valued home then everyone ends up feeling more strongly like a team. We all have a stake in the best outcome.
At JSB it’s easy to be on the same page because there’s no fine print on our paperwork, and everything in our contracts makes sense and is visible in our work: fine craftsmanship carefully made to last for generations. We think it’s a great way to do business. We’re sure you will think so too.
